Benches
There are currently four benches installed along the trails, two of which have already been adopted/sponsored. There are plans for at least two more benches to be installed as additional trails are built. We are offering an opportunity for individuals to purchase and dedicate a bench in remembrance of loved ones. Permanent engraving is available for lasting remembrance. All benches are being located in serene, scenic locations.
Kiosks
Kiosks
Information kiosks are being constructed and installed at each of the two official trail system entry points during 2026. The kiosk pictured above is located near the entry point off Eagle Drive in McGregor and is being generously sponsored by the McGregor Achievement Club. An additional panel will be added below the map that includes donor information and recognition and trail app information for trail users. Other Structures
Other Structures
The bridge shown above has been generously sponsored by the Marquette Community Action Club. Several additional structures will be needed to complete the MMHPT trail project and, in particular, a few more bridges will be needed in order to span some of the ephemeral drainages present in our hilly driftless terrain. If you or your organizatioin would like to sponsor a bridge or other structure, please contact us using the contact information provided at the bottom of this page.
